Welcome to Central Illinois Horror Con
Our Story
We started Central Illinois Horror Con with a simple goal in mind: to create a platform that makes it easy for people to connect horror fans and artisans who share their interests and passions.
We are forging forward from what we did in 2025. Exposition Gardens has been sold so we are currently shopping around for different venues and are trying to lock down a date as well.

Venue Change
As stated above we had to look for a new venue after the sale of the Exposition Gardens. We have decided upon Holiday Inn Peoria at Grand Prairie!
The convention center there is more than adequate to accommodate everyone from 2025 with some more vendors being able to join in the fun for 2026!
We are looking forward to what this new venue can do for us here at Central Illinois Horror Con and cannot wait to see you all again in 2026!
